All rates quoted are per-week rates. Weeks run starting from Monday through Sunday.
We reserve the right to reject any advert we feel is inappropriate at our sole discretion. To place an

Automatic Advert Selection for Display (important!)
We want advertisers to understand the potential constraints when running adverts at
Eggschange.
We book more adverts than we have spaces on our home page. To manage this,
Eggschange uses an automated system to select adverts for display upon
each home page load. For each advert slot on the home page (there are currently two), the system randomly selects
an advert from all the adverts currently running. This way, all advertisers will get an
equal chance of their advert being seen on Eggschange at each home page
load.
This also means that the more advertisers who are simultaneously running adverts at
Eggschange, the lower the chance that any particular advert will have of
being displayed on any single home page load. Conversely, the fewer the advertisers, the more likely a
particular advert will be selected on any given page load. However, we will book a maximum of 6
advertisers to run adverts at the same time. This will guarantee you that your advert will
never have worse than a 1 in 3 chance of being shown on any given home page load.
We feel our low rates for
running ads reflects this uncertainty.
Reserving Advert Space
Since we only take a maximum of 6 advertisers at a time, we accept reservations for future advertising
space. We will book your advert to run in the next available opening for a 25%
non-refundable deposit. The 25% is applied to the total run cost for your
advert. The balance of the fee is due prior to the run of your advert. We will email you a reminder that your
slot is coming up 2 weeks prior to your reserved time.
Advert Size:
Our advert size is 290 pixels wide by 80 pixels high, at a standard screen resolution of
72 pixels/inch. Adverts are laid out as follows:

You may associate a link with your advert so that a user may "click-through" to your site.
Fees are due prior to running the advert. If an advert's run is subsequently extended beyond the originally
contracted period, the rate will be appropriately discounted as if the entire run was contracted at the
start.
Any browser-compatible image file format is acceptable for your advert. Below we've included links a
"template" file (a GIF filled with white) that is the correct size and resolution for adverts. You may download
and use these to size and layout
your advert artwork. Just right-click on the link and from the menu that appears select "Save target as...",
then browse to the folder where you want to store the template image.
